Destination vs. Destiny — What's the Difference?

A destination is a specific place that someone intends to reach, typically at the end of a journey or a movement towards a goal. It implies a degree of control and choice over where one is going. On the other hand, destiny is associated with the idea of fate or a predetermined set of outcomes that one's life is supposed to follow, suggesting less control over the final outcome.
